예수 그리스도의 족보

 
1 이것은 아브라함과 다윗의 후손 예수 그리스도의 족보이다:
2 아브라함은 이삭을 낳았다. 이삭은 야곱을, 야곱은 유다와 그의 형제들을 낳았다.
3 유다는 다말에게서 베레스와 세라를, 베레스는 헤스론을, 헤스론은 람을 낳았다.
4 람은 암미나답을, 암미나답은 나손을, 나손은 살몬을 낳았다.
5 살몬은 라합에게서 보아스를, 보아스는 룻에게서 오벳을, 오벳은 이새를,
6 이새는 다윗왕을 낳았다. 다윗은 우리아의 아내에게서 솔로몬을,
7 솔로몬은 르호보암을, 르호보암은 아비야를, 아비야는 아사를 낳았다.
8 아사는 여호사밧을, 여호사밧은 요람을, 요람은 웃시야를 낳았다.
9 웃시야는 요담을, 요담은 아하스를, 아하스는 히스기야를 낳았다.
10 히스기야는 므낫세를, 므낫세는 아몬을, 아몬은 요시야를 낳았다.
11 요시야는 바빌론으로 잡혀갈 무렵 여고냐와 그의 형제들을 낳았다.
12 바빌론에 잡혀간 후 여고냐는 스알디엘을, 스알디엘은 스룹바벨을 낳았다.
13 스룹바벨은 아비훗을, 아비훗은 엘리아김을, 엘리아김은 아소르를 낳았다.
14 아소르는 사독을, 사독은 아킴을, 아킴은 엘리웃을 낳았다.
15 엘리웃은 엘르아살을, 엘르아살은 맛단을, 맛단은 야곱을,
16 야곱은 마리아의 남편 요셉을 낳았다. 그리고 그리스도라는 예수님은 마리아에게서 태어나셨다.
17 그러므로 아브라함으로부터 다윗까지 모두 열네 대이며 다윗으로부터 바빌론으로 잡혀갈 때까지 열네 대이며 바빌론으로 잡혀간 때부터 그리스도까지 열네 대이다.

예수 그리스도의 탄생

18 예수 그리스도의 태어나신 일은 이렇다: 예수님의 어머니 마리아는 요셉과 약혼하였으나 아직 결혼 전이었다. 그런데 성령으로 임신한 사실이 알려졌다.
19 그러나 의로운 사람인 약혼자 요셉은 마리아를 부끄럽게 하고 싶지 않아서 남 몰래 파혼하려고 마음 먹었다.
20 요셉이 이 일을 곰곰이 생각하고 있을 때 꿈에 주님의 천사가 나타나 이렇게 말하였다. “다윗의 후손 요셉아, 마리아를 아내로 맞아들이는 것을 주저하지 말아라. 그녀가 임신한 것은 성령으로 된 것이다.
21 마리아가 아들을 낳을 것이다. 그의 이름을 ‘예수’ 라고 불러라. 그가 자기 백성을 죄에서 구원하실 것이다.”
22 이 모든 일이 일어나게 된 것은 [h]하나님이 예언자를 통해서 말씀하신 예언이 이루어지도록 하기 위해서였다.
23 [i]“처녀가 임신하여 아들을 낳을 것이며 그의 이름을 ‘임마누엘’ 이라 부를 것이다.” 임마누엘은 하나님께서 우리와 함께 계신다는 뜻이다.
24 요셉은 잠에서 깨어나 주님의 천사가 일러 준 대로 마리아를 아내로 맞아들였다.
25 그러나 그는 마리아가 아들을 낳을 때까지 그녀와 잠자리를 같이하지 않았다. 마리아가 아들을 낳자 요셉은 이름을 ‘예수’ 라 하였다.

The Genealogy of Jesus the Messiah

 
1 This is the genealogy[a] of Jesus the Messiah[b] the son of David, the son of Abraham:
2 Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,
3 Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar, Perez the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram,
4 Ram the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon,
5 Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse,
6 and Jesse the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah’s wife,

7 Solomon the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asa,

8 Asa the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Jehoram, Jehoram the father of Uzziah,

9 Uzziah the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, Ahaz the father of Hezekiah,

10 Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amon, Amon the father of Josiah,

11 and Josiah the father of Jeconiah and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.

12 After the exile to Babylon: Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,

13 Zerubbabel the father of Abihud, Abihud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor,

14 Azor the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Akim, Akim the father of Elihud,

15 Elihud the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob,

16 and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, and Mary was the mother of Jesus who is called the Messiah.

17 Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Messiah.

Joseph Accepts Jesus as His Son

18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. 
19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 
21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 
23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”(which means “God with us”).
24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 
25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

1 Registro genealógico de Jesucristo, hijo[a] de David y de Abraham:

3 Judá, padre de Fares y de Zera, cuya madre fue Tamar; Fares, padre de Jezrón; Jezrón, padre de Aram;

14 Azor, padre de Sadoc; Sadoc, padre de Aquín; Aquín, padre de Eliud;

15 Eliud, padre de Eleazar; Eleazar, padre de Matán; Matán, padre de Jacob

16 y Jacob, padre de José, que fue el esposo de María, de la cual nació Jesús llamado el Cristo.

17 Así que hubo en total catorce generaciones desde Abraham hasta David, catorce desde David hasta la deportación a Babilonia, y catorce desde la deportación hasta el Cristo.

Nacimiento de Jesucristo

18 El nacimiento de Jesucristo fue así: Su madre, María, estaba comprometida para casarse con José; pero, antes de unirse a él, resultó que estaba embarazada por el poder del Espíritu Santo. 19 Como José, su esposo, era un hombre justo y no quería exponerla a vergüenza pública, decidió romper en secreto el compromiso.

20 Pero cuando él estaba considerando hacerlo, se le apareció en sueños un ángel del Señor y le dijo: «José, hijo de David, no temas recibir a María por esposa, porque ella ha concebido por el poder del Espíritu Santo. 21 Dará a luz un hijo y le pondrás por nombre Jesús,[d] porque él salvará a su pueblo de sus pecados».

22 Todo esto sucedió para que se cumpliera lo que el Señor había dicho por medio del profeta: 23 «La virgen concebirá y dará a luz un hijo y lo llamarán Emanuel»[e] (que significa «Dios con nosotros»).

24 Cuando José se despertó, hizo lo que el ángel del Señor le había mandado y recibió a María por esposa. 25 Pero no tuvo relaciones conyugales con ella hasta que dio a luz un hijo,[f] a quien le puso por nombre Jesús.

耶稣基督的降生

18 耶稣基督的降生是这样的：耶稣的母亲马利亚许配了约瑟，他们还没有成亲，马利亚就从圣灵怀了孕。 19 她丈夫约瑟是个义人，不愿张扬使她受辱，就打算暗中与她解除婚约。 20 他一直想着这些事，主的使者就在梦中向他显现，说：“大卫的子孙约瑟，只管放胆把你的妻子马利亚迎娶过来，因为她怀的孕是从圣灵来的。 21 她必生一个儿子，你要给他起名叫耶稣，因为他要把自己的子民从罪恶中拯救出来。” 22 这整件事的发生，是要应验主借着先知所说的：

23 “必有童女怀孕生子，他的名要叫以马内利。”以马内利就是“　神与我们同在”的意思。 24 约瑟睡醒了，就照着主的使者所吩咐的，把妻子迎娶过来； 25 只是在孩子出生以前，并没有与她同房。约瑟给孩子起名叫耶稣。
