因为被召的人多，选上的人少。

결혼식에 초대받은 자, 예복을 입지 않아 쫒겨났다.
여기서 예복은 무엇일까? 하나님을 사랑하는 것?

천국이란?

1 예수님은 다시 비유로 이렇게 말씀하셨다.

2 “하늘 나라는 자기 아들을 위해 결혼 잔치를 베푸는 어떤 왕과 같다.

3 왕은 종들을 시켜 잔치에 초대한 손님들을 불렀으나 그들은 오지 않았다.

4 왕은 또 다른 종들을 초대한 사람들에게 보내 ‘살진 소를 잡아 모든 음식을 푸짐하게 준비해 놓았으니 어서 잔치에 오십시오’ 하라고 하였다.

5 그러나 그들은 들은 척도 않고 어떤 사람은 자기 밭으로 가고 어떤 사람은 장사하러 가고

6 또 다른 사람들은 그 종들을 잡아 모욕하고 죽여 버렸다.

7 그러자 왕은 화가 나서 군대를 보내 살인자들을 죽이고 마을을 불태워 버렸다.

8 그러고 나서 왕은 종들에게 말하였다. ‘잔치는 준비되었으나 초대받은 사람들은 자격이 없다.

9 그러니 너희는 길거리에 나가 만나는 사람마다 잔치에 초대하여라.’

10 “그래서 종들이 나가 좋은 사람이건 나쁜 사람이건 만나는 대로 데려오자 잔치 자리가 가득 찼다.

11 왕이 손님들을 보려고 들어갔다가 예복을 입지 않은 한 사람을 보고

12 ‘그대는 어째서 예복도 입지 않고 여기 들어왔는가?’ 하고 묻자 그는 아무 대답이 없었다.

13 그때 왕은 종들에게 ‘이 사람의 손발을 묶어 바깥 어두운 곳에 던져라. 거기서 통곡하며 이를 갈 것이다’ 하였다.

14 이와 같이 초대받은 사람은 많지만 선택받은 사람은 적다.”

15 그때 바리새파 사람들이 어떻게 하면 말로 예수님을 함정에 빠뜨릴 수 있을까 하고 의논한 후에

16 자기들의 제자들을 헤롯 당원들과 함께 예수님께 보내 물어 보게 하였다. “선생님, 우리가 알기에 선생님은 진실하시고 진리대로 하나님의 교훈을 가르치시며 사람의 겉모양을 보지 않으시기 때문에 누구에게도 거리낌이 없으십니다.

17 그래서 선생님의 의견을 듣고자 합니다. [a]로마 황제에게 세금을 바치는 것이 옳습니까, 옳지 않습니까?”

18 그러나 예수님은 그들의 간교한 생각을 아시고 “위선자들아, 왜 나를 시험하느냐?

19 세금으로 바치는 돈을 내게 보여라” 하고 말씀하셨다. 그들이 예수님께 [b]데나리온 하나를 가져오자

20 예수님은 “이 초상과 글이 누구의 것이냐?” 하고 물으셨다.

21 그들이 “황제의 것입니다” 하고 대답하자 예수님이 “황제의 것은 황제에게, 하나님의 것은 하나님께 바쳐라” 하고 말씀하셨다.

22 이 말씀을 듣고 그들은 말문이 막힌 채 가 버렸다.

23 바로 그 날 부활이 없다고 주장하는 사두개파 사람들이 예수님께 와서 물었다.

24 “선생님, 모세는 형이 자식 없이 죽으면 동생이 형수와 결혼하여 형의 대를 이어야 한다고 했습니다.

25 우리 이웃에 일곱 형제가 있었는데 맏이 결혼하여 살다가 자식 없이 죽고 그 동생이 형수와 살게 되었습니다.

26 그러나 둘째도 자식 없이 죽었고 셋째에서 일곱째까지 모두 그렇게 되었으며

27 끝내는 그 여자도 죽었습니다.

28 이렇게 일곱 형제가 모두 한 여자와 살았으니 부활 때 그 여자는 누구의 아내가 되겠습니까?”

29 그래서 예수님은 그들에게 이렇게 대답하셨다. “너희는 성경과 하나님의 능력을 모르기 때문에 잘못 생각하고 있다.

30 부활하면 장가도 시집도 안 가고 다만 하늘에 있는 천사들과 같이 된다.

31 너희는 죽은 사람들의 부활에 대하여 하나님이

32 [c]‘나는 아브라함의 하나님, 이삭의 하나님, 야곱의 하나님이다’ 라고 하신 말씀을 읽어 보지 못했느냐? 하나님은 죽은 사람들의 하나님이 아니라 살아 있는 사람들의 하나님이시다.”

33 그러자 군중들은 예수님의 가르치심에 감탄하였다.

34 바리새파 사람들은 예수님이 사두개파 사람들의 말문을 막으셨다는 말을 듣고 다 함께 모였다.

35 그들 중에 한 율법학자가 예수님을 시험하려고

36 “선생님, 모세의 법 중에 가장 큰 계명은 어느 계명입니까?” 하고 물었다.

37 그래서 예수님은 이렇게 대답하셨다. “[d]‘네 마음을 다하고 정성을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라.’

38 “이것이 제일 중요한 계명이다.

39 그 다음은 [e]‘네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라’ 는 계명이다.

40 모든 율법과 예언자들의 가르침은 이 두 계명에서 나온 것이다.”

41 바리새파 사람들이 모였을 때 예수님은 그들에게

42 “너희는 그리스도에 대하여 어떻게 생각하느냐? 그는 누구의 후손이냐?” 하고 물으셨다. 그들이 “다윗의 후손입니다” 하고 대답하자

43 예수님은 다시 그들에게 물으셨다. “다윗이 성령님의 감동으로

44 [f]‘하나님이 나의 주님에게 말씀하셨다: 내가 네 원수들을 네 발 앞에 굴복시킬 때까지 너는 내 오른편에 앉아 있거라’ 고 하지 않았느냐?

45 다윗이 이렇게 그리스도를 주라고 불렀는데 어떻게 그리스도가 다윗의 후손이 되겠느냐?”

46 그러자 한마디도 대답하는 사람이 없고 그 날부터 예수님께 묻는 사람도 없었다.

The Parable of the Wedding Banquet

1 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3 He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.

4 “Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’

5 “But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6 The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7 The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9 So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ 10 So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12 He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless.

13 “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

14 “For many are invited, but few are chosen.”

Paying the Imperial Tax to Caesar

15 Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. 16 They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. 17 Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax[a] to Caesar or not?”

18 But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? 19 Show me the coin used for paying the tax.” They brought him a denarius, 20 and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”

21 “Caesar’s,” they replied.

Then he said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

22 When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away.

Marriage at the Resurrection

23 That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. 24 “Teacher,” they said, “Moses told us that if a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and raise up offspring for him. 25 Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother. 26 The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh. 27 Finally, the woman died. 28 Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?”

29 Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 31 But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’[b]? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”

33 When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching.

The Greatest Commandment

34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Whose Son Is the Messiah?

41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 “What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?”

“The son of David,” they replied.

43 He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says,

44 “‘The Lord said to my Lord:
    “Sit at my right hand
until I put your enemies
    under your feet.”’[e]

45 If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?” 46 No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.

Parábola del banquete de bodas

1 Jesús volvió a hablarles en parábolas y dijo: 2 «El reino de los cielos es como un rey que preparó un banquete de bodas para su hijo. 3 Mandó a sus siervos que llamaran a los invitados, pero estos se negaron a asistir al banquete. 4 Luego, mandó a otros siervos y les ordenó: “Digan a los invitados que ya he preparado mi comida. Ya han matado mis toros y mis reses cebadas; todo está listo. Vengan al banquete de bodas”. 5 Pero ellos no hicieron caso y se fueron: uno a su campo, otro a su negocio. 6 Los demás agarraron a los siervos, los maltrataron y los mataron. 7 El rey se enfureció. Mandó su ejército a destruir a los asesinos y a incendiar su ciudad. 8 Luego dijo a sus siervos: “El banquete de bodas está preparado, pero los que invité no merecían venir. 9 Vayan al cruce de los caminos e inviten al banquete a todos los que encuentren”. 10 Así que los siervos salieron a los caminos y reunieron a todos los que pudieron encontrar, buenos y malos, y se llenó de invitados el salón de bodas.

11 »Cuando el rey entró a ver a los invitados, notó que allí había un hombre que no estaba vestido con el traje de boda. 12 “Amigo, ¿cómo entraste aquí sin el traje de boda?”, dijo. El hombre se quedó callado. 13 Entonces el rey dijo a los sirvientes: “Átenlo de pies y manos y échenlo afuera, a la oscuridad, donde habrá llanto y crujir de dientes”. 14 Porque muchos son los invitados, pero pocos los escogidos».

El pago de impuestos al césar

15 Entonces salieron los fariseos y tramaron cómo tenderle a Jesús una trampa con sus mismas palabras. 16 Enviaron algunos de sus discípulos junto con los partidarios del rey Herodes, los cuales le dijeron:

—Maestro, sabemos que eres un hombre íntegro y que enseñas el camino de Dios de acuerdo con la verdad. No te dejas influir por nadie, porque no te fijas en las apariencias. 17 Danos tu opinión: ¿Está permitido pagar impuestos al césar o no?

18 Conociendo sus malas intenciones, Jesús respondió:

—¡Hipócritas! ¿Por qué me tienden trampas? 19 Muéstrenme la moneda para el impuesto.

Y se la enseñaron.[a]

20 —¿De quién es esta imagen y esta inscripción? —preguntó.

21 —Del césar —respondieron.

—Entonces —dijo Jesús—, denle al césar lo que es del césar y a Dios lo que es de Dios.

22 Al oír esto, quedaron asombrados. Así que lo dejaron y se fueron.

El matrimonio en la resurrección

23 Ese mismo día los saduceos, que dicen que no hay resurrección, se acercaron y le plantearon un problema:

24 —Maestro, Moisés nos enseñó que si un hombre muere sin tener hijos, el hermano de ese hombre tiene que casarse con la viuda para que su hermano tenga descendencia. 25 Pues bien, había entre nosotros siete hermanos. El primero se casó y murió y, como no tuvo hijos, dejó la esposa a su hermano. 26 Lo mismo les pasó al segundo y al tercer hermano; fue así hasta llegar al séptimo. 27 Por último, murió la mujer. 28 Ahora bien, en la resurrección, ¿de cuál de los siete será esposa esta mujer, ya que todos estuvieron casados con ella?

29 Jesús contestó:

—Ustedes andan equivocados porque desconocen las Escrituras y el poder de Dios. 30 En la resurrección, las personas no se casarán ni serán dadas en casamiento, sino que serán como los ángeles que están en el cielo. 31 Pero en cuanto a la resurrección de los muertos, ¿no han leído lo que Dios les dijo a ustedes: 32 “Yo soy el Dios de Abraham, de Isaac y de Jacob”?[b] Él no es Dios de muertos, sino de vivos.

33 Al oír esto, la gente quedó admirada de su enseñanza.

El mandamiento más importante

34 Los fariseos se reunieron al oír que Jesús había hecho callar a los saduceos. 35 Uno de ellos, experto en la Ley, le tendió una trampa con esta pregunta:

36 —Maestro, ¿cuál es el mandamiento más importante de la Ley?

37 —“Ama al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, con toda tu alma y con toda tu mente”[c] —respondió Jesús—. 38 Este es el primero y el más importante de los mandamientos. 39 El segundo se parece a este: “Ama a tu prójimo como a ti mismo”.[d] 40 De estos dos mandamientos dependen toda la Ley y los Profetas.

¿De quién es hijo el Cristo?

41 Mientras estaban reunidos los fariseos, Jesús preguntó:

42 —¿Qué piensan ustedes acerca del Cristo? ¿De quién es descendiente?

—De David —respondieron ellos.

Jesús les dijo:

43 —Entonces, ¿cómo es que David, hablando por el Espíritu, lo llama “Señor”? Él afirma:

44 »“Dijo el Señor a mi Señor:
    ‘Siéntate a mi derecha,
hasta que ponga a tus enemigos
    debajo de tus pies’ ”.[e]

45 Si David lo llama “Señor”, ¿cómo puede entonces ser su descendiente?».

46 Nadie pudo responderle ni una sola palabra y desde ese día ninguno se atrevía a hacerle más preguntas.

婚筵的比喻

22 耶稣又用比喻对他们说： 2 “天国好象一个王，为儿子摆设婚筵。 3 他派仆人去叫被邀请的人来参加婚筵。但他们不肯来。 4 他再派另一些仆人去，说：‘你们告诉被邀请的人，我已经预备好了筵席，公牛和肥畜已经宰了，一切都预备妥当。来参加婚筵吧！’ 5 但那些人却不理会就走了；有的去耕田，有的去作买卖， 6 其余的抓住王的仆人，凌辱他们，并且把他们杀了。 7 王就发怒，派兵消灭那些凶手，焚毁他们的城。 8 然后对仆人说：‘婚筵已经预备好了，只是被邀请的人不配。 9 所以你们要到大路口，凡遇见的，都请来参加婚筵。’

10 “那些仆人就走到街上，把所有遇见的，不论好人坏人，都招聚了来，婚筵上就坐满了人。 11 王进来与赴筵的人见面，看见有一个人没有穿著婚筵的礼服， 12 就对他说：‘朋友，你没有婚筵的礼服，怎能进到这里来呢？’他就无话可说。 13 于是王对侍从说：‘把他的手和脚都绑起来，丢到外面的黑暗里，在那里必要哀哭切齿。’ 14 因为被召的人多，选上的人少。”

以纳税的事问难耶稣

15 法利赛人就去商量，怎样找耶稣的话柄来陷害他。 16 他们派了自己的门徒和希律党的人一同去问耶稣：“老师，我们知道你为人诚实，照着真理把　神的道教导人，不顾忌任何人，因为你不徇情面。 17 请把你的意见告诉我们，纳税给凯撒，可不可以呢？” 18 耶稣看出他们的恶意，就说：“虚伪的人，为甚么试探我呢？ 19 拿纳税的钱币给我看看。”他们就拿了一个银币给他。 20 耶稣问他们：“这是谁的像，谁的名号？” 21 他们回答：“凯撒的。”他就对他们说：“凯撒的应当归给凯撒，　神的应当归给　神。” 22 他们听了，十分惊奇，就离开他走了。

人复活后不娶不嫁

23 撒都该人向来认为没有复活的事。那一天，他们前来问耶稣： 24 “老师，摩西说：‘如果一个人死了，没有儿女，他的弟弟应该娶他的妻子，为哥哥立后。’ 25 从前我们这里有兄弟七人，头一个结了婚，没有孩子就死了，留下妻子给他的弟弟。 26 第二个、第三个直到第七个都是这样。 27 最后，那女人也死了。 28 那么，复活的时候，她是这七个人中哪一个的妻子呢？因为他们都娶过她。” 29 耶稣回答他们：“你们错了，因为你们不明白圣经，也不晓得　神的能力。 30 复活的时候，人们也不娶也不嫁，而是像天上的使者一样。 31-32 关于死人复活的事，　神对你们讲过：‘我是亚伯拉罕的　神，以撒的　神，雅各的　神’，你们没有念过吗？　神不是死人的　神，而是活人的　神。” 33 群众听了他的教训，就十分诧异。

最重要的诫命

34 法利赛人听见耶稣使撒都该人无话可说，就聚集在一起。 35 他们中间有一个律法家，试探耶稣说： 36 “老师，律法中哪一条诫命是最重要的呢？” 37 他回答：“你要全心、全性、全意爱主你的　神。 38 这是最重要的第一条诫命。 39 第二条也和它相似，就是要爱人如己。 40 全部律法和先知书，都以这两条诫命作为根据。”

基督是大卫的子孙

41 法利赛人聚在一起的时候，耶稣问他们： 42 “你们对基督的看法怎样？他是谁的子孙呢？”他们回答：“大卫的子孙。” 43 耶稣就说：“那么大卫被圣灵感动，怎么会称他为主呢？他说：

44 ‘主对我的主说：

你坐在我的右边，

等我把你的仇敌放在你的脚下。’

45 “大卫既然称他为主，他怎么又是大卫的子孙呢？” 46 没有人能够回答他。从那天起，也没有人敢再问他。
